2008 Spilia, white – 60% Chardonnay, 30 % Moschofilero, 10% Assyrtico 16
Very pale watery colour. Lots of fresh summer fruits on the nose. The palate is very fresh, with lots of fruit character. It has a perfect acidity, this is a white that will please most wine drinkers. The Assyrtico has been placed in barrels. AVIN7057292900412
2005 Spilia red – Nemea AOC, 100% Agiorgitiko 14
Medium to deep red cherry colour. The wine received 1 year barrel treatment. The nose is gamey and smokey, quite open. The palate confirms the nose. This is good example of a basic OPAP. It is elegant in style, fully mature and should be drunk over the next months. AVIN9766065169731
2006 Nemea red – Nemea AOC, 100% Agiorgitiko 16.5
Dark black cherry colour. The wine received 2 years of barrel treatment. The nose has more depth compared to the Spilia. It shows good levels of smokey oakiness, followed by red fruits. It is full bodied and well structured. The oak treatment is dominant, but not overpowering as the wine also has complex layers of red fruits. AVIN0320964201313
2005 815 alt red – VdP Korinthos, 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot 16
Medium deep red cherry colour. Classical Cabernet Sauvignon nose of black berries, oak, vanilla and smoke. On the palate a touch spicyness is added from the Petit Verdot grapes. This will keep for another 5 to 10 years. AVIN6721425413797
2005 Chardonnay 24 white – VdP Korinthos, Chardonnay aged for 24 moths 17
Light to medium lemon colour. Very open nose with exotic fruits and vanilla. Medium bodied with a good freshness. Very delicious to drink, very good length. AVIN4871155007611
2006 Petit Verdot red – 100% Petit Verdot 15.5
Medium deep cherry colour. Nose dominated by black berries and earth. Also vanilla. The wine is medium bodied with dense tannins and a good length. The reds all show the individual signatory of the winemaker, they do have their own style. AVIN6821460888618
2008 Mantinia Pirgakis white – Mantinia AOC, 100% Moschofilero 15.5
Pale watery colour. Nose a touch reserved with summer fruits and flowers making their way through. The palate is explosive though, again the fruits and flowers are there, it has a rich and buttery taste. This is full bodied and very good. AVIN4140085144247
2008 Late harvest rosé – VdP Korinthos, 100% Agiorgitiko 16
Pale pink colour. Lots of sweet fruits on the nose. Full bodied for a rose, again bags of sweet fruits. The acidity makes this very fresh, it is unlike other roses, very good. AVIN8071943626581
2008 Late harvest Chardonnay, white – VdP Korinthos, 100% Chardonnay 17
Extremly light watery colour. Bit reserved on the nose with exotic fruits. Very good on the palate with ananas, peaches and mango, added to this is a very satisfying sweetness. This has lots of character. Very good. AVIN9364615235167
