Both wines are produced biologically:
2005 Ktima Nemeion Reserve red – Nemea AOC, 100% Agiorgitiko 16
Medium deep red cherry colour. The wine was kept for 18 months in barrel and a further 18 months in bottle. Good open nose of spices and red fruits. Medium bodied, well structured with lots of cherry fruit flavours. Good length. AVIN4154522399763
2005 Hgemon Grand Reserve red – Nemea AOC, 100% Agiorgitiko 17
Medium to deep black cherry colour. The wine was kept for 2 years in barrel and a further 2 years in bottle. Nose of toasted almonds and red fruits. Full bodied, explosive fruits. Also lots of spices that add to its complexity. This is a fine sample of very well made Nemea. AVIN2323333427213

About Markus Stolz

Over the last years, I have come to really appreciate Greek wines. There are many grape varieties that exist only in Greece and I have the good fortune of being able to try them all. I wish to share my enthusiasm with wine lovers around the world, who often limit themselves to maybe four red and four white grape varieties for most of their life.
