2008 Metron Ariston white – VdP Peloponnese, 65% Roditis, 35 % Chardonnay 15
Medium deep silver colour. Quite an expressive nose of fresh summer fruits. Very good on palate, rich and buttery, lots of exotic fruits. Good. 6500 bottles produced. AVIN0879210551950
2006 Miden Agan red – VdP Peloponnese, 100% Agiorgitiko 18
Bright medium deep strawberry colour. Tpypical Agiorgitiko nose of red fruits and sweet spices. This has been aged for 1 year in partially new (30%) barrels. The palate is rich and the wine is full bodied, the fruits are explosive and the spices make this very interesting. AVIN6741710102755

About Markus Stolz

Over the last years, I have come to really appreciate Greek wines. There are many grape varieties that exist only in Greece and I have the good fortune of being able to try them all. I wish to share my enthusiasm with wine lovers around the world, who often limit themselves to maybe four red and four white grape varieties for most of their life.
