2004 Domaine Helios red – Nemea AOC, 100% Agiorgitiko 14
Medium dark red cherry colour. The nose shows red berries and oakiness. The palate has fresh fruit characters and the finish has a good length. It is a well made wine. AVIN3333523437662
2005 Chateau Semeli red – VdP Attica, 85% Caberent Sauvignon, 15% Merlot 16.5
Medium deep cherry colour with a purple rim. After a minute in the glass, the wine opens up nicely. The nose is very typical Cabernet Sauvignon with blackcurrants and vanilla. It is very elegant and round, feminin in style. Drink over the next 5 years. AVIN8373892231664

About Markus Stolz

Over the last years, I have come to really appreciate Greek wines. There are many grape varieties that exist only in Greece and I have the good fortune of being able to try them all. I wish to share my enthusiasm with wine lovers around the world, who often limit themselves to maybe four red and four white grape varieties for most of their life.
