Oinos for the Americas

This weekend I will be leaving for a three week business trip, visiting both the US West and East Coast, and for the first time, South America. I am excited that winemaker Christos Zafeirakis will be joining me for the first couple of weeks. He has prepared himself by studying English for some months now. I am sure that his effort will be greatly appreciated.

In California, my partner WineWise is organizing a number of events. I will share further details on Facebook as soon as they become available, please note the following times and locations, additional evening events might be added:

02/13 evening: Á Côté Restaurant, Oakland

02/15 5 – 7:30 PM: Domaine LA, Los Angeles

02/16 2 – 4 PM: The Wine House, Los Angeles (update: Details)

In California we will be spending time in San Francisco and the Bay Area, Orange County and Los Angeles.  The New York leg will be all about the Big Apple. To finish off, I will travel to Panama to present Greek wines and connect with the local wine community. Why Panama? There exists some serious enthusiasm for Greek wines, at the same time the current offering is limited. I go where I see potential, and South America is on my list.

I very much look forward to meeting old friends and making new ones, which is always a highlight of any business trip.

If you wish to be kept updated during my travels, but are not connected with me via Facebook or twitter, please check my Social Stream, which is integrated into my homepage. It will be automatically updated with photo/video content.
